Black History Month
To commemorate Black History Month there will be events throughout the city celebrating important people and moments in time in African-American history.
LONG CENTER PRESENTS: KATHY GRIFFIN
Two-time Emmy and Grammy award-winning comedian Kathy Griffin is a towering figure on television, on tour and in publishing. She breaks through the entertainment clutter with her universally recognized brand of pull-no-punches comedy. This year, Kathy announced her 80-city, “Like A Boss” Tour, with stops from coast to coast including the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles, CA, Carnegie Hall in New York, NY. And, of course, at the Long Center!
Ballet Austin presents Belle REDUX / A Tale of Beauty & The Beast.
Following its critically acclaimed debut to sell-out audiences in 2015, Stephen Mills brings this contemporary ballet back in time for Valentine’s Day.
As one of Austin’s most progressive festivals, OUTsider brings together Austin’s LGBTQI community for five days of creation and inspiration. This multidisciplinary art festival showcases film, performance art, music, visual art and more.
Austin Shakespeare presents Old Times
Deeley and his wife Kate are visited by Anna, a mysterious friend of Kate’s from long ago. What begins as a trip down memory lane quickly becomes something more, as long-simmering feelings of fear and jealousy begin to fuel the trio’s passions, sparking a seductive battle for power.
The Austin Symphony presents Pixar In Concert, featuring Pixar movie clips with live music.

Austin Marathon & Half Marathon
One of the country's premier races attracts nearly 20,000 participants from around the world. Events surrounding the marathon includes a 5K, live music, finish line festival and beer garden.
5th Annual Austin Oyster Festival
